The most incredible news came to me yesterday. OUTLANDISH (only the world’s most awesomest group of talented singers) will be performing at Reviving the Islamic Spirit Convention this year!
If you haven’t hear their music, please do. They’re truly inspirational and talented.
Although I wont be at the RIS convention this year (going to Hajj, God Willing!), those of you who were debating on whether to go or not, you have to GO. It’s HUGE and so very uplifting. You come out of the convention learning at least a thing or two and feel so inspired to change your life and your ways so as to be a better citizen, a better muslim and a better person overall. This is the first year I’ll be missing out but I have no doubt that Hajj will be all that much more inspiration and life altering.. inshAllah.
Make dua for Shakir and I and a safe trip to the Holy Land of Mecca. Labbaik Allahumma Labbaik.
